A custom, hand-painted wooden ornament cut directly to your pet’s silhouette. Each piece is laser-cut from wood, hand-painted in acrylics to match your pet's markings, sealed for protection, and finished with a hanging strap.

Photo Guidelines for Your Custom Ornament
Because every piece is custom hand-painted, the photo you submit serves as your official reference photo for the artwork. To ensure the best possible portrait, please keep these tips in mind:
Send Just One Reference Photo: To ensure the most accurate likeness and keep the workflow efficient, please submit only one primary reference photo per pet. Additional photos are welcome for color or detail reference, but combining multiple photographs into one portrait can sometimes reduce likeness due to differences in lighting, camera angles, and perspective.
For the Silhouette Shape: Front-facing photos are preferred! Because the wood is cut to the outline of your pet, a straight-on headshot or seated pose facing the camera works best. Avoid angles where the ears are cut off.
Lighting is Everything: Choose a photo taken in bright, natural daylight (near a window or outdoors). Avoid harsh flash or dark, shadowy indoor lighting so your pet’s true fur color and eye details are visible.
Eye Level: Take the photo at your pet's eye level rather than shooting down from above.
Clear & Sharp: A clear, high-resolution photo allows me to see the details. Avoid heavily filtered or blurry images.

Photo Submission & How Proofs Work
During checkout, please upload the photo you would like me to paint from. This will be the reference I use to create and paint your ornament.
To ensure everything is just right before it arrives at your door, I use a simple two-step review process:
Pre-Painting Preview: Before paint touches wood, you will receive a digital layout preview via email showing how your pet’s silhouette and name (if appicable) are framed. I will ask you to take a quick look and confirm before I begin painting.
Final Polish: Once painting is complete, you will receive a photo of the finished piece to give a final green light before it is sealed, packaged, and mailed out. (Note: Ornaments include these digital previews, but do not include open-ended redraws or photo swaps after painting begins).
Response & Studio Hold Policy:
Timely Feedback: To keep your ornament crafted and shipped on schedule, please review your digital proofs promptly.
Studio Hold on Approvals: If I do not hear back within 48 hours of sending either your layout preview or your final finish photo, your order will be on hold until I receive the green light, to ensure you are completely happy before it moves forward or ships out - though this may impact holiday delivery times.

A Note on the Process
Every portrait is hand-painted to order from your reference photo. Please allow 2–4 weeks for creation and shipping during the holiday season.
A Note on Checkout
Because ornaments are processed through a streamlined automated system with a single photo upload, ornaments cannot be checked out in the same cart as custom canvas portraits. If you are also commissioning a canvas portrait please email me to figure out details and please complete your ornament order separately!
